Frank Moran vrs Bela Lugosi

Post by Brutu »

I went to the video store the other day and rented a DVD entitled,
THE CORPSE VANISHES.
It was made in 1942.
It starred Bela Lugosi.
Also in it there was a big hulking guy who worked for Bela Lugosi .
He is listed in the credits as Frank Moran.
Is this the same Frank Moran
who fought Jack Johnson and later Jess Willard for the Heavyweight title?

Which of you two is older?

Buzzy says he saw Moore fight Dibiase which was about 45 years ago. Maybe he was sitting on Daddy's knee, but if he paid himself he's gotta be 60 at least.

Jaclem says he was involved with Ezzard Charles when he was still fighting. Given that Charles' last fight was almost 50 years ago, he's gotta be 70 at least.

Now, don't be coy about this. It's only women (and Liberace) who get upset when asked their age. I'm 47, by the way.

..silkov..how much therapy will it take to get you to spell "figs" correctly?

i'll be responding with the truth about my age a little later. in the meantime dna and bloodtests have proved that boxbuzz is not a love child created by me and annie oakley.

So you finally admit to having an affair with Annie? A fine lass she was though a bit young for you don't you think?

I think she favors Selena ever so slightly....IMHO.

He was also a very good football player with the Akron Pros in the very early days of professional football.
