I'm sure there are previous posts giving the details of his 'Simon Pure" career, but after spending a half hour looking back, I've given up in hopes of someone being kind enough to provide them here again.
With Briggs getting what will probably be his final shot at the big time this weekend, I'd like to be able to see the roots of where he sprung from with much touting.

1992 Olympic Trials forfeited to James Johnson
Briggs was totally outclassed, got knocked down by a right hand and another right got him hanging on the ropes when the ref stopped the fight. He didn't even land a punch on Savon. Of course there was a big difference in experience.
