GOOD SOURCE OF EARLY NAZ FIGHTS, 92-94

Post by overhand_right »

Yeah Naz is a prick but he's fun to watch, and i'm a bit of a completist freak, so does anyone know of a collector who actually taped these fights off ITV/SCR originally, or has great quality copies...?

92
Ricky Beard Ko2
Shaun Norman Ko2
Andrew Bloomer Ko2
Miguel Matthews Ko3
Des Gargano Ko4
Peter Buckley W6

93
Alan Ley Ko2
Kevin Jenkins Ko3
Chris Clarkson Ko2

94
Peter Buckley II Ko4
John Miceli Ko1
Vincenzo Belcastro W12
Antonio Picardi Ko3
Freddy Cruz Ko6
Laureano Ramirez Ko3

Yeah I know we all have the first 3 fights because Channel 5 repeat them all the time, but what about the others? I have a lot of them, but in mediocre to shitty quality.

Any leads?

"Early Nazi Fights" ... hmmm ... would Louis/Schmeling 2 count as such?

Also, how do you define "early" with respect to the Nazi pugilistic era? Before they invaded Poland, perhaps?

He was on a Eubank undercard in one of his early fights. Eubank had advised him to sign with Barry Hearn. He later advised him to leave Mickey Duff and let him (Eubank himself) manage and promote him (Naz) in association with Don King! (Ingle had to be restrained from attacking Eubank at 93 PBA awards)

In that fight, against Miguel Matthews, the Welshman was on the verge of disqualification before Hamed entered the ring as Miguel physically blocked Naz jumping over the ropes.

In the end the Welshman relented but as Hamed jumped over the rope Matthews pulled it causing the Sheffield man to slip.

Thread is from 15 years ago. He bumped it to talk about Eubank.

Fairly sure red dragon still going but obviously his market audience kinda dwindles the more he sells. I’d imagine the internet, torrents and YouTube killed him off.

No idea if it’s still around, but I purchased a few dvds from boxing barmy about 10/12 years ago. They were fights from early 90s that I purchased. If still about I’m sure they would have early Naz fights.
