Pele Reid returns on the Elcock-Bendall undercard on 1st December.
I've always rooted for him in spite of his beyond-question punch resistance (he's the Herbie Hide it's okay to like) and think he could potentially get to at least another British/Commonwealth title shot. Failing that, a very watchable tussle with the Audley-Skelton loser.
Any thoughts?
PELE'S BACK!

More like he's the poor man's Herbie Hide.deadpan wrote:he's the Herbie Hide it's okay to like
Furthermore he's hardly likeable. He's almost as much of a twat as Herbie Hide ;)
Nevertheless I'm glad to hear that he's back. After all he knocked out Vitali Klitschko in 2 rounds! ............

Dunno what your experiences of Pele are but I have always found him humble and respectful.lawllb wrote:More like he's the poor man's Herbie Hide.deadpan wrote:he's the Herbie Hide it's okay to like

Awesome. Pele seems to be one of the most likable guys ever. Plus i'm no longer hurting over him knocking out Joseph Chingangu.
Pele gave away the fight with Sprott. Didn't seem overly hurt in that 7th. Not like when he pitched mike face down in the 5th.
Pele would have a great shot at whipping Audley, i doubt once he felt that power he would want to continue.
Pele with his power has a 50/50 shot v any british heavy.
