So was Harrison released today or what?

All weekend the stories were talking about his preliminary hearing being today.
Did he somehow get bail?

JM Marquez wants Cook. I doubt the feelings are reciprocated.
Have to feel bad for Cook. Another fighter who ends up shafted waiting for Harrison to sort his life out.
Why didn't the WBO do something about this guy before he ended up in a Spanish jail?
He couldn't make dates with St Clair or Guzman either. Any time he had to step up he couldn't fight.
Should never even have got to this point.

Spain are never in a hurry to sort out any foreign national in their prisons, bloke i used to house share with spent over a year in a spanish prison on trumped up charges, before finally being released. and all charges were dropped.boxbet wrote:Why arnt any legal authorities geared up in any country?
Golden Boy want to make JMM-Cookie.Foggy wrote:If the Cook-Harrison fight is off then i'd presume that JMM would be classed as full champ instead of interim champ. If thats the case then why not let Cook fight JMM, ok so he may lose but if he gives a good account of his self the experience he would gain would be good for him.

They seem to have his absence as Medical instead of WBO like they do if they fight for other titles.Taki... wrote:Assuming the fight is off. Will Cook's WBC ranking be restored?

true.silkov wrote:Cook beating Mathews will prove nothing... its barely interesting as a domestic fight but is nowhere near a real 'world title' fight... Cook should hold out for his WBC shot if he wants to be a recognised 'world' champion... the WBU title is a joke and the WBO title is only marginly better...
i'm sure cook ain't turning down the payday though.
he's been a little too inactive this year and probably needs all the dosh he can get.

The clerical delay was Monday, delayed to yesterday. But it still hasn't happened.
