THE 2 big fights (to this point) he missed out on were Beyer and Ottke. Would anyone have advised him to travel to Germany for either of those fights?

What about the Reid rematch?
Many of us believe RR won comfortably, despite Calzaghe's claim of a broken hand.

What of Collins and Francis?
Then Jones Jr. and Toney, who to be fair, were uninterested in British fighters at that time.

He fought some decent Americans, I'll give Joe that, but the defining nights of victory never came.

I'd forgive all if he were to challenge Kessler and Froch next.

I also disagree on Andrade being underrated. I thought he was pretty bad considering his record when I saw him fight Otis Grant, and now that I saw the Richard "alien" Grant mismatch (a fight set up to make Andrade look GOOD) I think even less of him. He has no defence, no footwork, and no outside game. He plods straight in with his chin up in the air and instantly gives up his reach advantage. Despite the fight lasting barely two minutes, Andrade also managed to get caught flush by a telegraphed left hook right on the chin (first ten seconds).

i didn't think much of him either.

he's very face first and doesn't slip much.

he's far too crude to beat calzaghe or kessler.
