Small has potential, and is certainly made for TV, with his rig walks and style in the ring as well, unorthadox skills and a good punch.
I'm not wholly convinced he has the chin to go to world class, when i've seen him he seems to have been shook a couple of times by non-punchers

Interesting to see Maloney "let him go" quite so early into his deal with him. Certainly in the ring Small hasn't dissapointed, I'm just wandering if he is easy to handle outside the ring.

Of course, it might be a simple case of the big fish wanting his contract and Maloney allowing him to go onto bigger things.... However, he was at least scheduled (I think he fought) to appear on a few Derek Williams shows between his last Maloney fight and here, which did strike me as odd.

At least the lad seems to have ambition. He might fall short, but he obviously wants to progress quickly and fight the best. Let's just hope he doesn't go "the WBU route"...

Small has left Booth boxing news. I dont think Haye will be going. Small a WBU fighter all the way, Jones and Woolcombe would beat him imo.
