Jerry Judge and Horst Geisler are both given credit for KO's Not TKO's...Not sure of the details of those two go-rounds for the Bayonne Bleeder.

Well, it turns out we didn't have complete info on those fights Buzz.

Bucks County Courier Times of Jan 7th, 1971 reports that Chuck was "unable to come out in the fifth round" against Jerry Judge

Oakland Tribune of May 21st, 1977 reports that against Geisler "referee Vinnie Raimoni stopped the fight at 1:19 of the 10th round"

Both changes have been entered to Chuck's record.
I hope this answers Taylor's question.

Wepner may have been limited technically but he was one tough fighter.

You know, I had a memory that he claimed he was never stopped cold in an interview, which is why I looked at those "KO" entries with interest but would not confirm them.

I love the evolution of this info....getting more accurate all the time.
