Froch comes into the ring and immediately barges into Dodson.

Dodson looks pumped up. Does Carl look a little nervous?

I'd say focused rather than nervous.

You're right though Dodson looks well up for it.

Dodson starts very well. Lands some very good shots. Loses his gumshield.

Froch jabbing on backfoot looking to counter, walks into Dodson's wide right hand. Tony pressuring Froch early on.|Few big left hooks for Dodson miss. Not much between them. Slow round.

10-10

Dodson is looking powerful in there. He took round one IMO. Caught Carl a few times and didn't take much in return.

Froch looking much sharper in round two. Made Dodson wince with an uppercut. Frochs round.

R2

Dodson marching forward with jab and left hooks, Froch abit slow on the gas.
Tony rushing in smothering work but doing more than Froch, better from Froch with a right hands at end. Another close slow round.

10-9 Froch

20-19 Froch

R3

Froch opening up slightly more now, mostly single shots though. Dodson throwing big shots but mostly missing. Froch countering on backfoot. Froch with no guard, just popping Tony with single shots now. Uppercut for Froch. Dodson goes down from left hook to body I think.

All over

KO 3 Froch

Big right uppercut. Body shot takes everything from Dodson, he takes a knee and stays down. Very disappointing.

Bloody hell. Let's hope Froch gets an EBU shot against the Russian kiddy now (if indeed he still holds the belt). Commiserations to Tony & congratulations to Froch.

And a big thank you to John & lvlarc! Cheers dudes!

Fair play to him for taking the fight but he was put in his place quite easily. Didn't quite see the warrior side of him.

Well done to Carl, he did everything he said he would. Would like to see him go after Allan Green. Manfredy before Calzaghe agreed to fight him would have been nice too.

Hennessy says a fight with Kessler/Andrade winner or Bute is possible.

All 3 beat him I reckon. Still hasn't learnt how to hold a guard, although he didn't need to tonight.

Surely you were impressed though??

Have to say I am a tadge concerned about Mr Hennessy ... he really needs to get a bigger suit in my opinion ... he looked fit to burst!!! and to say Froch is a bigger fight than Clinton Woods for Calzaghe at this stage is plain barking mad!!!

But back to Froch ... impressed.

How good do you really think he is though Spud? How do you honestly think he would fare against 1) Calzaghe 2) Kessler 3) Mundine 4) Lacy 5) Taylor. I'm not sure he could beat any of them but would love to see any of these fights in a year or thereabouts.

Respect to Froch - cracking body shot. Also thought he handled himself well after the fight and showed Dodson the respect all fighters deserved.

Well done Carl & Respect to Tony....
