As expected, Mexican and WBA Fedecentro super middleweight champion Esteban “Rocky” Camou (21-2, 18 KOs) retained his Mexican title defeating Ernesto Zamora (14–9, 11 KOs) last night in the Gimnasio Polifuncional “Ana Gabriela Guevara” at Hermosillo, MX. Camou punished Zamora, closed his right eye and opened a cut on his left eyebrow before the bout was stopped at 0:51 of the 7th round. The card was promoted by Temible Promotions, owned by the two-time WBC lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo, who was at ringside. Also in attendance was the current WBO super flyweight champion Fernando Montiel.
