"I've paid my dues and fought my way here," said heavyweight Roman Greenberg (23-0, 16 KOs), who will face hard punching Steve Pannell (34-10, 28 Kos) at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena on December 9th. "Now I'm ready to make my move on the top fighters in the division in 2007, and I'm going to end the year with a bold statement by knocking out Steve Pannell." The bout can be seen live on Seminole Warriors Boxing's "Night of The Heavyweights" pay-per-view show available on InDemand. The card is headlined by the return of three-time heavyweight champion Michael Moorer against Cliff Couser, plus former heavyweight champion Oliver McCall’s intriguing clash with Yanqui Diaz.

ow ow ow. stop. It hurts...too funny. "I'm going to end the year with a bold statement by knocking out Steve Pannell." Is Roman making preperations for a second career as a comedian? Good thinking. Has anyone NOT ko'd Pannell?
I love the quote that he's going to make a statement by stopping this guy, woop de fuckin do.
Good job not every boxer pays their dues in the same way Roman does. When the wheels come off (next 12 months) I hope I get to see it. Nothing worse than crap being hyped the way Greenberg has been, I wonder what Secondsout will make of it?
Secondsout have probably achieved their goal of getting people talking about Greenberg which they have clearly done...us lot Anyway all that talk of him being the first billion dollar heavyweight was laughable then but even more stupid now. The guy has yet to take on a meaningful test.
Maybe Greenberg's management are playing it rather cleverly. Shannon Briggs got a title shot despite not fighting anyone halfway decent since Jameel McCline in 2002, and (the infamous) JD Chapman has a top 15 WBC ranking fighting nothing better than club fighters.
I saw JD Chapman last night against Matt Hicks on an old ESPN2 card i fished out. Flip me if anyone let's him anywhere near a world title they need shooting.
