Must have been quite a few of these this year, not talking about full fights here, just moments from them. A few that come to mind for me are:
1) De La Hoya putting Mayorga on his arse in round 1 of their fight with a left hook.
2) Briggs stopping Lyakhovich by knocking him outside of the ring in the last second of the last round of their borefest, after being behind on all cards. (By the way, just saw Briggs-Ibragimov listed for 17/02/07).
3) During the Hopkins-Tarver fight late on when Hopkins was toying with Tarver. He sprinted across the ring, stopped before he got to him, Tarver winged an exhausted punch that missed completely and Hops moved in and flurried him with combinations.

Hatton flooring Collazo in the first 30 seconds looked like a dramatic statement of him as a Welterweight. The rest of the fight was pretty dramatic for the wrong reasons.
Yeah I see where you're coming from with the Collazo knockdown in the first. On one side, people may have been thinking he has made an immediate statement at Welter, but at the time I remember thinking "shit, not another bum, where do they get these guys from"!
Didn't Anderson V Mutley win fight of the year with the BBBofC?? Moore-Macklin stands out for me, what a classic fight. Jamie Moore is rarely in a dull one. I always have trouble in these types of polls remembering what happened in what year. Was Liakhovich-Brewster this year? Great fight too.
