Whats the big hold up with JC Gomez?

Nice display of skills v Samil Sam in 2003, then sits out a year only to get mauled in 1 by Yanqui Diaz.

Comes back in 2005 to wax a couple of journeymen, shuts out Oliver McCall then gets it voided because he was/was not/fixed up to be on coke, then he pisses off for over a year again!

Hes got a fight in december with Kelvin Davis in Germany, the Germans don't seem to be able to do anything for him, is he squandering his talent?

Didnt he bang his trainer's daughter, marry her and then leave her, all within a short time frame?? I cant imagine that won him too many brownie points/favours in his German camp..

Sounds like a headache of a fighter to me.

Not sure about the weight making issues but should have stayed at Cruiser IMO saw the big bucks of the Heavyweight division and apart from the Samil Sam victory his career has basically been a waste of time since. I would probably side with Gomez being the problem as the Germans usually deliver one way or the other with big fights.
