Aint they got any of those where you come from mate?
Dont try and taint Billy's hard earned reputation by such poorly informed speculation.
Spots on the back = steroids.
Yeah, nice one genius!
I was asking a question d!ck head.
I've seen enough of it in gyms to know what im talking about and it wasn't just the spotty back as i said....but not many people get acne on their back at 28 years old.
Also he's been a pro for six years and lost everything until this year.
Don't make out there aint a lot of boxers getting away with it.
I smell some kind of performance enhancer.

Simpsons I dont want to know about you hanging about the showers in bodybuilding gyms, save it for someone who cares!SIMPSONS wrote:

Billy Smith is a tough, improving boxer - we dont need Inspector Clusoe's like you putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with nandralone.
Billy boxes most weeks of the year - when exactly is he going to cycle/stack steriods?
Next time keep your brain waves to yourself.
Well if someone that knows what he's talking about wants to come on this thread and break it down that no way an active boxer can be taking something illegal without being able to mask it and get away with it, especially at lower level boxing then i will admit i am wrong.TerribleTerry wrote:Simpsons I dont want to know about you hanging about the showers in bodybuilding gyms, save it for someone who cares!SIMPSONS wrote:

I still say at the very least heavy creatine use is evident.

I am sure steroid abuse goes on at certain levels of the game, espcially amongst heavies - Tommy Morrison, James Toney, Andrew Golota (suspected by many) and the like. there is alot of $$s at stake, so a 'win at all costs' attitude can be understood.
Billy Smith however, is a hard, proud fighter though who fights for purses far and away removed from these superstars, in a division where weight management is important. I just cant see Errol or Billy having anything to do with the gear.
I can think of one or two fighters on the British circuit who I have suspected of steriod abuse in the past (who fight at a far heavier weight then Billy) But I wont stick their names on a message board because I have no proof, only hearsay to go on.

Yeh well you have just admitted you don't know so why didn't u STFU in the first place, just because you come from the Midlands you want to stick up for a fighter you don't even know.TerribleTerry wrote:I am sure steroid abuse goes on at certain levels of the game, espcially amongst heavies - Tommy Morrison, James Toney, Andrew Golota (suspected by many) and the like. there is alot of $$s at stake, so a 'win at all costs' attitude can be understood.

Tommy Morrison has admitted he took the gear yet he never tested positive for it as far as i know, i also know for sure 100% one British Heavyweight fighter that juices... it is not only heavyweights that do it either.
As i said i don't know if this guy is on it or not, i just stated the facts about his fight record looking upsidedown and his apperance and i would be VERY surprised if some sort of enhancer was not involved.
In boxing this should not be tolerated AT ALL, IMO it's ok if sprinters ect want to take it as long as they don't do it in secret, but when you have two guys hitting each other in the head it can be deadly.
Any fighter using creatine soon fucks up as it gets hard too control the weight. Billy has been fucked over many times being the away man, his
record should have more wins than losses. He is so active that of late hes beaten a couple of wanabes. Half of todays boxers are too over protected, then along comes a man and we scream cheat. I love boxing, but it is rotten to the core.

Simpsons is a Tosser - but I did think that there might be some kind of perormance enhancing drug being used. The spots on the back is a side effect.
Despit eing a knob - Simpsons has a pont. I do not think he is on steroids as he must be tested and it should find something..
He must be clean - but I see Gimpsons point.

Well if you know what your doing you could take some on Monday and have it out of your system by Wednesday/Friday, say goodbye to your liver though, the quicker it gets out your system the more liver damage it does. Nandrolone based steroids can stay in your system for 3-6months after use but don't have much in the way of side effectsTerribleTerry wrote:Simpsons I dont want to know about you hanging about the showers in bodybuilding gyms, save it for someone who cares!SIMPSONS wrote:

Fighters I suspect of juicing - Holyfield (look at who helped him muscle up for HW), Pacquaio (his skin is very thin - a side effect of the juice and bodyfat just seem far too low), Golota (back), Klitchkos
Interestingly when some steroids were legal there was a possibility taking food supplements that were produced in the same labs could trigger a positive drug test. I remember a few Maximuscle sponsored athletes getting bans. And of course some dumber athletes would assume if a product was legal it wouldn't fail a test

Just out of interest if boxers are taking steriod, what are they taking???
I'm just thinking that most boxers have good genetics and would ballon on a course - they must have a nightmare making weight.
I was told a few years back that Winstrol (?) was a good one for boxers as it only put on lean muscle...
I've taken creatine on and off for a good few years and never got a spotty back, I also didn;t seem to carry any more water, the only effect was my recovery time - i'd be able to train in the morning and evening and not be totally shattered.

Billy is a training addict. Anyone who has seen him train at the Wednesbury Boxing Academy will tell you the same. Errol makes sure all his fighters are in amazing shape - take Marcus Portman and Young Mutley as casein points.
He still fights bareknuckle round the back of the caravans in Stourport, and beats a lot of men i can assure you!
He lives in Worcester now and the move away from Stourport has done him the world of good. When matched at the right weight he'll give anyone a torrid time, as he did John Murray last night - Billy wants to win, and before last night had won four of his last five.
Has anyone considered Bill just has a spotty back! It happens to the best of us.... not saying i have, though.

The reason I pulled you up on it Simpsons is because you are a creatin who knows fu ck all - not because Billy is from the midlands. If you got off your fat (possibly spotty?) arse once in a while and went to a boxing show, you would have seen that Billy has been boxing in a tough uncompromising style for years - he just didnt get the rub of the green as the away fighter mostly.SIMPSONS wrote: Yeh well you have just admitted you don't know so why didn't u STFU in the first place, just because you come from the Midlands you want to stick up for a fighter you don't even know.

Didn't know Smith trained at the Gym in Wednesbury....well interestingly i recently heard something concerning steriods in regards to someone you mentioned, the person that told me this has nothing to do with boxing and had no agenda, just came from someone who used to live in the same block as him and knew what he was up to.

Don't worry Terry - Simpsons is a well know backside boy ( Lotion Man).
I do see his point re: the spots - but as TP pointed out - maybe he just had a spotty back?.
