WHY HAS STIPE DREWS VACATED HIS EUROPEAN TITLE?

I see Thomas Ulrich is fighting for the vacant title.

Drews is ranked #1 in the WBA but has no upcoming fight scheduled. With a loss to Paul Briggs i thought he might stay in Germany and milk his belt a while longer..?

because he was due for a WBC eliminator with Dawson, who obviously would have been inneligable for the EBU title. But Drews pulled out - Dawson fans citing severe trots syndrome.

Dawson-Adamek is now pretty much sealed I think

The Germans were hasty to arrange a January fight for the vacant title.

I was looking forward to Dawson-Drews but i think Drews bricked it. Is Dawson too green for the polished banger Adamek? I would say so but he still has bags of potential.

Wasn't Dawson down in the 1st v an ageing Eric Harding...? Is he really that good? Is Stipe Drews actually any good?
