The only open question at this stage is whether Frazier is #5 and Foreman #6 or vice versa.

I'm surprised how well Frazier does in this format. The reason is that this format is biased in favor of fighters about whose quality there is little disagreement. Most or all have Frazier in their top 10 or top 8,although at the lower end, hence Frazier didn't get negative votes for a long time. This distinguishes him from Foreman, Liston or Marciano, who picked up negative votes although those on average they may be more appreciated.

Marciano is long out, my friend. Or do you just ignore the votes that you don't like?

Pundit, how is Rocky Marciano out (my opinions don't effect the overrall points system)...
Lets re-trace Marciano's points...

ROCKY MARCIANO = 10 POINTS

Crease: +3: 13 POINTS
Pundit: -1: 12 POINTS
Pundit: -2: 10 POINTS
Decagon: -2: 08 POINTS
Pundit: -5 POINTS: 03 POINTS
Decagon: -4 POINTS: ****** -01 POINTS

***By rights Marciano should be eliminated now, however the table standings were not updated with every vote... This causes confusion! (Besides Pundit and Decagon voted more than once a round)...

Jeezamundo: -1 POINT: -02 POINTS
Crease: +3 POINTS: 01 POINT
Ezzard: -5 POINTS: -04 POINTS.

AT LONG LAST, ROCKY MARCIANO HAS RIGHTFULLY BEEN ELIMINATED!

Actually, this is what I count now:

Ali 59
Louis 50
Holmes 19
Johnson 6
Foreman -1
Frazier -3

Frazier and Foreman went simultaneously (Ezzard kicked them out), but as Frazier went with the lower score, I guess he ends up behind Foreman.

It seems a foregone conclusion that Johnson would go next, and that the top 3 rankings would not change.

So the top 10 are:

1 Muhammad the Greatest Ali
2 Joe the Brown Bomber Louis
3 Larry the Easton Assassin Holmes
4 Jack the Galveston Giant Johnson
5 Big George Foreman
6 Joe Smokin' Frazier
7 Rocky the Brockton Blockbuster Marciano
8 Charles Sonny Liston
9 Lennox the Lion Lewis
10 Jack the Manassa Mauler Dempsey

Quite reasonable list. For my personal taste Frazier and especially Marciano are too high though, and Liston is a tad too low.

Thanks for the idea, Crease :TU:
