Johnny Bredhal assault... any news?

Sorry to hear about comebacking former World champion Johnny Bredhal being assaulted at the weekend (story at fightnews). Just really a post to the danish posters asking if there is any news. Fightnews' report is a bit vague.

His life appears not to be in danger, after being trampled on the head by the attackers.... but what about his career? Any news.

His career was over anyway, he split with Team Palle this summer. After that he was part of a sportsstar survivor special.

Christ on a bike, that's quite a kicking they gave him. If only Bredhal had a bit more pop in his punches, he might have stood a better chance.

So is (before his injuries) definately planning on retiring again, what was the split about. I thought he looked decent in his comeback against a decent opponent.

They were on their way home after a christmas party at 6am. Bredahl and 2 other people got into an argument. Then one of the attackers smashed a beer bottle in Bredahl's face. They then got Bredahl on the ground when they started to kick him and then they jumped on his head. Vitnesses says that Bredahl begged for mercy.
