Is it exclusively a british disease to build sportsmen up to ridiculous proportions with unrealistic expectations then systematically knock them back down again.

Jesus khan has fought ten times and been impressive doing so but for some reason this isnt good enough for some on here who are determined to get their told ya so's in first so if he gets upset they can pull posts up from the past to prove how knowledgable they are about boxing.

Give the guy a chance for fucks sake!!

exactly

he is by far our best prospect, by far boxed the better lads than any of our other prospects, and he aint lost a round (I think he should have drawn the knockdown round)

He'd have to be pretty bad to lose a round to any of those 10 guys.

When Khans telling us hes going to be world champ in 5 fights, and we're being fed the hype machine about how great he is by Khan, Warren, ITV, and the red top garbage papers, i want to see a fighters DECAPITATING these journeymen as De La Hoya and Leonard did, as Bruno, Lewis, Naz, Benn et al used to on these shores, not Khans flashy pitty pat & posing hands down chump style.

Its a very fair expectation from someone who is so heavily hyped.

if you admit that its all hype and the red tops are garbage then why are you buying into it? If he wants to talk himself up then let him but the proof is in the pudding and if he is still fighting these sort of guys in ten fights time then start critisizing but right now give him a chance.

Erm, well i'm obviously NOT buying into it, thats the whole point. Its all bullshit.

Name one fighter who fought so many guys from 2 divisions below them with zero knockouts that is beyond poor.

I disagree if you expect khan to decapitate these guys then you must be buying into it to some degree.

Chavez jr for one and he has had a hell of a lot more fights than khan. If khan gets to that stage then i will bow down to your insights.
