Quote;I’m confident Ricky will beat the kid, he will beat any junior welterweight out there despite this being the toughest division in my opinion.”
Quote;“That’s a huge fight,” admits Billy. “Make no bones about it, Ricky’s only going to be in wicked fights, he always has been.
Quote;“I’m lucky enough to have a great stable of boxers,” he says. “Matthew Hatton is fighting for a junior title next, and Matthew Macklin will still go all the way.
Quote;“Who knows whether we’ll get Mayweather now, it may be too late and we can’t hang around waiting for him anymore.

Huge fight my arse, I'm only buying it because Sky are showing Witter as well.
Witter's just not retarded enough to run in and try to steamroll his opponents with body shots lacking defence like his last fight, no way was it the weight.“But it’s Urango first and that will be tough, not like the Demarcus Corley vs Junior Witter fight, I can promise you that. This is Vegas and they want to see a fight.”

“Who knows whether we’ll get Mayweather now, it may be too late and we can’t hang around waiting for him anymore. I wanted him to fight Ricky when they were both undefeated because it brings more money to the table and would have been a bigger fight, so it’s a real shame.
“I want Mayweather, I want him now, it would have been fantastic for us but every fight Ricky has now is going to be a risk and exciting because of his undefeated record.”
IN WHAT WAY HAVE THEY TRIED TO MAKE THE MAYWEATHER FIGHT? DOES TURNING IT DOWN 5 TIMES AND ASKING FOR $13M WHEN APPROACHED COUNT?

Exactly! I reckon Ricky may have missed the boat for the Mayweather bout. If Floyd beat De La Hiya, how much money would he want for a proposed showdown with Hatton?
Surely, if he gets past De La Hoya, Mayweather would have parity in the purse stakes. Mayweather would probably get more than Ricky if they were to fight now anyway!
