they should have a boxrec for amateurs those... to see who really lies bout theres...some kid last night said he was 112-7 as an amatuer and accordling to boxrec he 4-3 as a pro.

His claim might be true. There are some good amateurs who are complete busts as pros. Look at the thread on this site about it. However, you are correct regarding many boxers lying about their amateur records. I personally know some boxers who claim to have great win-loss records that I know to be false. One boxer claimed to be 30-5 and I have witnessed him lose more than 5 times with my own eyes. Too many amateur boxers worry about their records rather than worrying about getting better by gaining the necessary experience from taking tough bouts. It also happens where may boxers won't spar against tough opposition. How do they expect to get better?
