Goodson/Ortiz Question

Post by JCS »

Didn't Goodson win the vacant WIBF minimumweight title in this matchup? It was a title fight, then wasn't.. then was all because of some kind of screwup with the commission.

It was a title fight ! The California Commission would not turn it

Sarah weight if 99 lbs the day of the official weigh in , So we did

not what was gonna happen about the title till Barbra Butttrick

the president of the WIBF got back from England from her Vacation ,

(A week or so after the fight /.......................................)

The WIBF website has Sarah as there Champion , Fight Fax has Sarah as

the WIBF champion , But this is the reason Boxrec will never achieve

the legitimate stand that they want in boxing because some

editor wants to be a twerp , and keeps changing it back , and

has now seemed to lock it were you cant change it back to the

correct record , I like Boxrec posting my fighters records on there

site, But if they don't put there correct record including titles won .

Than I may have to get a court order to have them remove all

my fighters records from the site ! But hopefully this person who

locked it for what ever reason will not let it go that far !

 First of all, U gave the wrong date!
http://www.boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54554

The original promotional article didn’t mention any title;
http://www.pe.com/sports/boxing/stories ... fa45e.html

Follow up fight reports by the Riverside Press Enterprise & Fightnews failed to mention it;
http://www.pe.com/sports/boxing/stories ... 8954d.html
http://www.boxingbuzz.com/peter-klitschko/salazar3.htm

The California Commission also did not mention any title in their fax to us.
So if U, The media & the commission can’t get it right, why rag on us?

Any manager worth his salt is happy to have his boxer’s complete bio & record
in front of 30,000 to 60,000 hits a day. If U want them taken off just say so.

When U want something from this site, say pleeze & be nice.
U can only demand something when U are paying for it. :TU:
BoxRec will make the final decision about whom & what is on
this site because the info comes from public records. 8)

Next time U have a gig, make sure U tell the media, promoter & commission
U love BoxRec
 and want them to send us the complete information.

Enjoy the holiday week.

Look ..I like you guys at boxrec ! Hell you guys come over

some time and you can all fornicate my sister ! But my wife trained

for this fight TITLE fight ,,,We hired baby sitters , hell we were preparing

for a title fight ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the California Commission tried

to shoot it down starting from the day we left Arkansas all the way

tell two weeks after the fight ! My wife won the

title The WIBF Sanctioned the fight and that is the fact ,

Any contract signed for the fight says WIBF...............!

But when I talked to you before I thought ut was all done ,

Then I look the other day and is was back with the wrong results

and it was locked , ,,,,,,,,,, I tried talking to you and

you would reply to others but not me ! So I did not know

what to do ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, And crying in my room in the dark

was not working !

I did not reply to U right away because I had to research it
and consult with other editors involved.

There are many different faces of the boxing business tugging at BoxRec.
The commissions want info posted their way, yet are not in agreement
among themselves on how it should be listed. The manager want his
fighter’s height listed as such & such, but the media announces it as
different. One news site sez the result was this while another sez it was that.

Sometimes a manager or promoter will announce a new boxer in his stable
while another will post, “no he/she is mine”.
All this smoke & mirrors BoxRec has to research, sort out & clear up.

Sometimes it takes awhile to “gitter done”.

Your problem is now done.
