Hamed should take this as an honour.

MBE - Member of the British Empire.

Hamed is a cocky little sh*t who has total disregard for anyone or anything, as was demonstrated in the driving accident. He practically sneers at anyone who speaks to him or asks for autographs. I've seen it with my own eyes on a number of occasions. He deserves all he gets. It's a shame his jail sentence was reduced.

However, Ricky Hatton has been awarded one. Great news. A well-mannered young man who makes time for everyone. Nice to see.

What do you mean WTF?

Hamed deserves his disgrace, pure & simple. Hatton, on the other hand is a good role model for young people and is a personable fella.

What's your take on it then?

How's it work with these awards? Hamed Stripped of his MBE, but we still have Lord Archer walking around, does he not have to give back that title?

Ofcourse not! The likes of Archer have friends in very high places and will always be looked after. Don't know how Hamed was given an honour in the first place and i doubt he gives a toss that it has been taken away.

And that should tell anyone that has anything about them exactly what a "MBE" is worth.

I think he should, but he doesn't have to, I'm afraid. Once you get a life peerage you basically have to kill one of the royal family to get it removed. I'm sure I remember someone saying, at the time when Archer was sent down, that a peerage has never been revoked.

Didnt Lester Piggot lose a peerage when he was sent down for tax evasion?... I'm sure he was.
As for Hamed he's really become a nasty peice of work but the strange thing is that he doesnt seem happy in himself, he fat and miserable and looks about 40+ despite being only 32 I think the loss to Barrera really broke something in him and he's never got over it...

Lester had an OBE taken away when he was jailed for tax evasion.

As far as I know they can't/don't withdraw a peerage - I'm not sure why, perhaps it's a throwback to the days when peers were hereditary only as opposed to being appointed because they're lackies of Blair....
