Man, you sure get angry fast. So you think Louis should be ranked higher simply because he weighed less? Or is it because he weighed less and dominated the same weight division? That's a good point. Although by that, Marciano and Bob Fizimmons would also go above Ali p4p. Like I said, my list is very rough, and I don't have all the criteria laid out.Tantum wrote:Joe Louis weighed less than Ali... Where the fornicate do you people come to that equation?!!

I`m from Germany. I recognised two things about Americans.
They tend to overrate their own sportsmen very much. A lot of the american fans cant`t rate sportsmen of other countries in a realistic way, because they get not much informations about sports from other countries. The press in the US is simply not very interested in sportsmen of other countries.
The second thing I recognised about American Sportfans is very positive. I think that they are very fair. More fair than for example the common German sportsfan.
Now I will end to show my bad english

I think P4P should be about the weight class. A good excuse for Roy if he ever fights and loses at heavyweight: I was P4P better

lots of deserving fighters on the various lists...but it shouldn't surprise regulars here that I'll add Ezzard Charles. Much to hard to list any of them in order, yet that's what always starts the arguments.so before they get too heated just think about this...WHEN LISTING GREAt FIGHTERS FROM VARIOUS ERAS AND WEIGHT DIVISIONS RANKING THEM IN ORDER IS PUTTING MUCH TO FINE A POINT ON IT.
Back to Ezzard....the problem is if he goes in, who comes out. i'd sub him for fellow cincinnatian aaron pryor, and I never was as high on monzon as some people whose opinions i respect are. I can't see Marciano in any list with under 30 fighters on it.
I wish I had seen Eder Jofre. his record and respect he has from those who did see him indicates he belongs in with the very best.
