Post by andella »

where do I go to tract more info on Jim Mullen, Wrexham boxer on your records in 1927. This web site is the only one I've found him on.

Jim is my husbands grandad and we're keen to find out more. Where do you suggest I try?

if you check the ref library to see where the local papers are stored you can do a search for him.several boxers from that area boxed in birkenhead and the local paper for that is available at the central library in birkenhead. If you send me a photo and any other details eg dob I can have a look around in the material i have.

Thanks Robert. My other half is going to find out a date of birth etc. We're pretty sure he had a fight at the Liverpool Empire in 1927 but apart
from that, we don't know much more at the moment. :TU:
