Well 3 eye catching results from last night (for me).
Samuel Peter Wpts UD James Toney. Sounds like a pretty dominating win for Peter who apparently looked much better and had Toney in all kinds of problem. Probably best if Toney retires, but I doubt he will. He is going to have to use his hype powers to get back in the mix now. I still don't think a world title is out of the question for Toney, cause Peter would probably start as favourite against 3 of the 4 titlist. However, seems like he is most definately slipping.
Travis Simms TKO 9 Jose Rivera. A dominating nine rounds for the undefeated "former" champion. After such a layoff and such a performance, I hope the forgotton man of boxing can start to be noticed. How about Simms vs Karmazin.
Guilemero Jones KO 1 Jeremy Bates - Not surprised with the result (did a round quicker than a "resurgent" Holyfield).... However, could he make an impact at Heavyweight. Arguably, the best Cruiserweight out there.

Toney will still be fighting when he is 50.
I was a bit surprised when a lot of people on here said Toney would school Peter, not that I disagreed with it as such, but time has been catching up with Toney for a good couple fo years and as cute as he may be, when he does very little in return then it's not possible for him to win a fight.
Any decent heavy that is willing to let some punches go will trouble Toney - He hasnt got the fitness to compete, and it's too late to start worying about it now.
