Just noticed that on the Sept 2nd show in Bolton theres an interesting match up between Tak and Jennings, should be a good boxing match this one, i'm slightly siding with Jennings here.

Don't think so, I see Takaloo as being a banana skin for Jennings. Don't think Jennings as good as some think. Taks a good fighter, he'll win on points.

Jennings dissapointed me last time I saw him. A decent kid, but yet to be stretched IMO.

Tak has too much for him I reckon. Jennings can and does get caught early, and Tak can bang. Put a bet on an early KO for Tak.....

Should be a good fight though..... We need more domestics like this.

Yeah agree we need more big domestic fights, weve had Muttley v Anderson, which was a great fight, now we have Tak v Jennings! Going to be a good one I think, but can't see Michael winning.

really, I can see Michael outboxing Tak, i thought that Tak seemed to have lost a bit of sharpness against Magee.
As Terrence said earlier this may turn out to be a bit of a stinker, but i think it will be a bit better than that, Jennings is younger and a better moving boxer than Magee, and won't just fall into a clinch when on the inside.

Still Michael on points for me.

It is... good domestic dust-up...

The more seasoned, experienced Tak to come through late with a 9th round stoppage after coming through a few rough patches.

Could be a cagey affair though as it'll be both lads' first fight for some time and on a big bill the pressure will be on.

Just think Tak's got a bit too much of everything for Jennings, the major difference being in physical strength.

Heard Tak's also changed trainer and is hoping to work with Oliver Harrison.

Jennings got a padded record no doubt, and I think we'd like to see if he's more than hype...he does seem a little fragile and I think Tak will stop him.

I have never really been impressed by Jennings to be honest and i would pick Takaloo in this one to be honest. However i was at the Magee fight in Belfast i thought Magee did enough to win...it was a pro-Eamonn crowd though so maybe i was swayed.

I think Tak has missed his chance - After a brave showing against Santos, he has since been erratic in his performances.

I'd pick Jennings to beat him - I dont think Jennings is anywhere near as fragile as is being made out here.

Is Takaloo no longer working with Jim Mcdonnel?

Has Jim had enough of being a trainer, I noticed Williams didn't have him in his corner V Harrison.

If Tak is with Harrison, he'd get some great sparring with Jamie and Amir Khan.

Alot of different picks here.

I go for Jennings. I have never been impressed by Takaloo, think he is a bit too limited for the skilful Jennings. As always though it will make an interesting fight with Takaloo's power but I see Jennings cruising to a wide points win.

Why isn't Takaloo in the Boxrec british rankings, he is a British citizen now isn't he?

interesting match up this one,but i will have to go for jennings on sheer work rate alone,tak can be abit lazy and seems to switch of ocassionaly in fights.i think hes training at arnie farnells gym for this one

I think he changed his nationality back to Iranian a while back. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Aye Jennings has a high workrate, but against Mutley he did most of it out of range as he looked wary of Mutley's bombs.

Why is Tak training up in Manchester? Has he fell out with Mcdonnel?

I wonder if we'll get this on HBO in the US... I would assume it'll depend on whether or not Mac-Haye comes off.

As for the fight -- I figure Jennings will box safely to a decision victory.

Stop talking rubbish about his lady/nationality/family and keep to boxing.

He's still got British nationality and has three children from the woman he's been with since he was a teenager.
