Just because he 's only won com title (so far) doesnt mean he's not world level & because Cook won Brit, Euro & Com titles doesnt make him more world level fighter than what Asiku is, I mean you could even argue strength of opposition who Cook won titles of, Euro for example againts Cyril Thomas, no disrespect but he was not the strongest or best euro feather champs there have been, granted he was champ & can only box & beat who is but look at Asiku's record,he has mixed itwith by far the better opponents Cook has. Other than the ones with guts in the UK who have boxed him (& lets get it right Callaghan came up in weight to take him on when nobody else wanted to) look at who Asiku has boxed world wide, top fighters even when early in his career. You telling me that Cook is more worthy of being a higher level than Asiku?! Dont be brain washed by unbeaten records, its who you fight remember & I believe Cook would not be unbeaten if he ever boxed Asiku. im not saying Cook is not good, in fact I think he's very good, thats why Asiku v Cook makes for a great fight & they should fight but I feel Asiku is that bit better & tougher so believe he'd win
Asiku has not beaten any world class fighters to say he's world class.
Don't assume I'm brainwashed by unbeaten records, Asiku won the commonwealth title when Cook vacated so he could step up to world level.
He's been more inactive than Cook only one round last year, Cook would win on points.
Cook got messed about by Harrison waiting for a shot at the WBO title, Cook deserves to step up to world level.
Asiku is surrounded by top flight Brits and none will fight him. If Cook, Pickering, Dunne, or Hunter take him on I'll shit myself. There are Aussies that can challenge for his belt and they don't want to either.
I agree, Cook wasn't a great Euro champion. He looked messy as hell on one of his last fights Voronin?) and only lived up to his rep (classy boxer, brutal body puncher, Michael Brodie the 2nd) vs Dazzo Williams in all truth.
Whos going to duck a guy whos only had one round last year?
Oh, and how do you know that?
Not many ppl could have walked through the leather that Corrales was hurling that night, and have anything left to land big single shots. St Clair is tiny next to Chico - don't take things for granted.
If Gairy had Warren as a promoter he would've been a title holder for a few years.
Corrales wasn't a natural Super Feather, he hits hard for small weights but lets see him hit hard when he fights someone his own size.
Is Corrales overrated because of his first fight with Castillo and his wars?
If Harrison fought Corrales, he better watch his chin.
