i think hatton should get around £3m to witters £1m

this fight could be held in a football stadium and would gross a lot of money but it should be in a neutral venue.

for hatton to say that he will never fight witter is mad....the financial gain for this fight in the uk is huge although as mentioned in a previous post i think the fight should happen probably next year.

Hatton around £3m-£4m and Witter around £200k-£300k. I think thats realistic if Hattons on £3m a fight now. That would be less than 10% for Witter but he'd also be on around 2-3times his career high payday

I dont think Hatton is scared, thats just Witters hype but I do agree if Witter wins and Hatton loses we are much closer to the showdown between them - Hatton is in a league above Witter and would win without doubt but its a fight we all want to see and hopefully we will.

if they fought hatton would start strong favourite.
directly after the tzyu fight i would have said ricky sparks him out no problem but the maussa and collazo fights have put a few doubts in my mind.
ricky was pretty easy to hit in both of these fights.
witter`s fast hands and arkward, unothadox `ingle` style could prove difficult for ricky to work out, and especially when you add the fact that witter can bang a bit it.
i`m not saying witters going to knock ricky out with one shot but i dont think ricky could afford to be caught flush by witter as many times as he was by collazo.
saying all that hattons ability to fight every minute of every round would definately ruffle witters feathers, and would, imo, probably be the deciding factor.

Witter would try that 'I'm a champion, I deserve a bigger share' line, but truth is Hatton sells the fight, Hatton brings the money, Hatton brings the fans and Hatton brings US TV... I'd say 90/10 split would be fair.

A few years ago, I saw this as a geniune pick 'em fight. I was so on the fence I had a shit load of splinters on my arse.

Now, I see it as Hatton all the way. Again, I was far from impressed with Witter. Again, he showed he cannot sustain an attack (apart from in the 9th). He looked tired with very little workrate.

I think as Witter steps up in class, he should forget about his power shots - its seems to take alot out of Witter.
