Pryor Vs Young.......

Post by BoxBuzz »

after reviewing this, Jaclem will be forced to reconsider his assessment of Aaron Pryor. I know I did.

Only Mighty Joe Young was able to accomplish such a feat.

Pryor was so messed up from drugs at this point, that after the fight he told reporters he was happy with his performance.

He had a little scuffle with Young's trainer before the bout started too.

He was off his face, I reckon.

I see your point, the ravages of age had caught up with Aaron. What was he when he was all washed up?? All of 31 right? No wonder he had no fight left in him. Jaclem obviously had me drinking the Kool Aide here.

And of course Mighty Joe Young was every bit the champion that Ali was so it is a perfect comparison. Here is his record. http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=8623

Ne'r have a I seen a more succint analogy. I look forward to further education in these matters as time goes by.

Even at his best, Aaron still would've had problems with Bobby Joe.
