A Question For You Londoners

As many of you make your home and place of work in the capital, I am hoping you can give me a suggestion or two Re: this wkends Witter fight.

I am going down to meet a couple of transplanted Brummies who live in the capital and we are hoping to follow up the Witter fight by watching the Hatton fight in one of your fine hostelries.

Thats where my problem begins. Can anyone suggest a possible boozer that might be not only open at 4am but showing the fight and be inclined to let a few beery brummies in to watch??

Preferably in the North or East of the city - my one mate leaves near Muswell Hill, the other over towards Hackney (talk about contrasts!..)

At the moment we are thinking maybe some where on the Holloway Rd might do the trick but I have no definite leads.

If the name of the pub might be sensitive, feel free to let me know via PM

Your best bet is a Rileys snooker club. They are open 24hrs and have SKY SPORTS.

Your nearest is Semley Place, Victoria, behind the coach station.

fight card is on box office tho, best check they can get it

Your really gonna find it hard finding anywear that will show the Hatton fight. As its PPV its VERY expensive for pubs to show it, so it would be a very specialist late night sports bar.

Yeah I realise that mate - I was hoping there might be somewhere with a snidy feed showing it.

snide feeds are all over the gaff, but you gotta know a local who knows a place really - and they gotta be up for afters if its a pub

Nice one J - sounds ideal! I am looking forward to a big pi55 up in the big smoke - havent been down that way for a year or so
