White trash by definition is a racial insult as it: a) relates to a specific colour/race only and b) is a derogatory term.
I can't think of any more racially abusive term that can be applied to a white. Can you?
If, according to you, 'white trash' is not a racist term, then please enlighten me and provide to the forum the equivalent term which might be applied to black people....

I asked an American friend who told me white people first coined the phrase 'white trash' to describe low class white people. White people use the phrase as much as black people. 'Ghetto trash' is probably acceptable if the shoe fits.
