I'm 1 of Hattons biggest critics but I've got to take my hat off to Urango and admit hes a world better than I though he'd be. IMO hes the biggest puncher Rickys faced (yes more than Tyszu), the strongest by far Rickys faced, a chin of Iron.
What would a prime Hatton have done? Maybe boxed more over the last 4 rounds instead of grappling. Maybe not get tagged and kept his hands high. but ricky always has been a fighter who takes shot
Urangos powershots to the body and head could have taken something out of Ricky. Maybe Ricky would always have had the same problems with Urango. Ricky Hatton is mixing it with better fighters these days, your not going to look as impressive against prime top10 opponents as you do against shot old men.
Castillo doesn't hit as hard as Urango, is nowhere near as strong as him, doesn't have as good a chin, but is more skilled. So expect a completely different fight when that 1 happens.
In defense of Hatton give credit to Urango

I'm sur Castillo will hurt Hatton but can he outbox or outwork him? On the basis of the last fight the answer is a resounding NO. If not he'll need a KO.viciousmaussa wrote:You can bet Castillo wants to have a good crack at that body.
I'm edging for Hatton but think both are past prime and I don't think it'll be the exciting war its been made out to be
