Superwelterweights: Terry Norris vs Felix Trinidad
Who wins this fight? they were supposed to fight in 1996, but Terry ducked him in my opinion. Anyway, it is a great match up. I pick the Tito that beat Vargas to beat the Terry that beat Leonard or Meldrick Taylor by KO in 5.

I’m glad that finally with agree in something.elmersalsa wrote:Who wins this fight? they were supposed to fight in 1996, but Terry ducked him in my opinion. Anyway, it is a great match up. I pick the Tito that beat Vargas to beat the Terry that beat Leonard or Meldrick Taylor by KO in 5.
I think Terry takes Tito out early because he is a fast starter and can bang as well as the fact that Tito is so easily hit and a wee bit predictable. Put it this way, Leonard beats both of them in his prime, but Norris would be a more dangerous opponent for him. Tito was not as good offensively as Terry and about the same as regards chin.

Trinidad was a long way from being the perfect boxer, but there were few fighters who were better finishers. Opponents found out the hard way that he was more dangerous when hurt. Terry was no slick fighter and he would've lost to a better puncher inside of 8 rounds.walshb wrote:I think Terry takes Tito out early because he is a fast starter and can bang as well as the fact that Tito is so easily hit and a wee bit predictable. Terry spanks him like his daddy Terry was a fast starter Trinidad was a slow starter Terry has very quick hands and power too Very quick feet to be able to get in range to land His combinations and fast enough to get away from Trinidad's counters If he fought Trinidad before Hopkins and Winky He'd be the first to send him back into retirement
Trinidads persistance and power would eventually end matters late
It doesn't matter if Terry comes out trading with Tito or decides to box and move he wins this fight hands down Tito never took out any good fighter 6 rounds or less anyone that Had Good movement and good defense Has 1 hell of a chance to beat him The thing with Trinidad is that he got stronger while the fight wen't on In this case his not going to be around Reid was beating him until the experience factor showed up his left eye didn't help out either he wasn't able to see the punches coming his way Vargas Hurt trinidad and in my opinion would of KO'd Tito if not for those lil bitch tactics he loved to use His really is no different
than Golota both fvcker's went low when things started to heat up.. If Terry came out Punching He would KO him very good finisher with power in both hands and very fast hands his combinations would be a blur in trinidads face If Terry boxes he beats him the same way he beat Simon Brown

That is the reason why he ducked Trinidad when he was calling him.Victor*KC wrote:Trinidads persistance and power would eventually end matters late

know I'm bias, but nonetheless the fact remain that Trinidad was calling Norris and they never answer. Do a search and you'll find out. Trinidad was not perfect, but Norris was no slick fighter and if he chooses to trade he loses by a tremendous KO and that is a fact.Victor*KC wrote:W/e man your Puerto rican and obviously biased atleast give some kind of fvcking scenario![]()
Is this a fact because you tell me
Trinidad used his strength accuracy and power he was effective in late in fights never early in fight's what are you going to say he had a granite chin
Atleast Terry had heart and even tried to fight whe he was past his best that lil bitch Tito retired after every time they beat him easily he ran to his dad like a lil bitch Who did he ever beat that was on Terry's level Answer None End of Discussion

Trinidad was scheduled to meet Terry Norris during the summer of 1997, but Norris backed out of the promotional agreement and No. 1 super welterweight contender Troy Waters became the Puerto Rican's opponent. Fighting for the right to challenge Norris, the two met at Madison Square Garden on August 23 in front of more than 10,000 Puerto Ricans in attendance. Showing no ill-effects from the move up in weight, Trinidad called on his powerful right hand to knock Waters down late in the first round. Waters bounced back up before the count of 10, but Trinidad, could smell the kill and went back to work, swarming his opponent with countless unanswered blows. Waters went down again and this time he could not rise before being counted out.Victor*KC wrote:Is this a fact because you tell meTrinidad used his strength accuracy and power he was effective in late in fights never early in fight's what are you going to say he had a granite chin
