Any word on Skelton?

There's not been a cheep about him since he pulled out of the Audrey fight, citing injury from training, but just before the claims he'd taken apart some guy who was getting his end away with Matts wife.

And then as to who Audrey's opponent would be after the Kipling fight, Skelton wasn't mentioned at all?

Anyone know the situation?

I would imagine Skelton is part of the who needs him now club with his own promoter. The last time I heard his name mentioned was part of these alledged options malarky that was discussed regarding David Haye. It was claimed that one of the options was for Haye to fight a Heavyweight fight with one of either Williams, Harrison, Skelton or Sprott.

Now Warren has finally got Audley tied to a long deal - cannot see him risking him with Skelton... and it will be Skelton out in the cold.

I did kind of fear something like this, but to be honest Skelton has as good a chance as Audley of performing at a higher stage. At the very least Frank could go all or nothing and get him the winner of Krasniqi-Virchis. He's just about the mandatory there I think. That would just about lead to a WBO eliminator (Krasniqi is very highly rated there) and could get him a shot for the WBO at the end of the year, against who could well be the weakest of the three belt holders by then. It would certainly be a shame if Skelton isn't given a chance before he retires.

I thought Skelton was still recovering from his hand injury. I reckon Audley-Skelton will happen

Audley should take on Mollo/ bergaron or holmes to get into the rankings and go for valuev !

or a risky euro shot at Virchis ..depends if the old Aforce dsnt return against sprott.

Skelton should go for rejoining the brit and comm titles against Gammer then take on commonwealth boys Kali meehan/ peter okhello/ shane cameron to get into top ten ranking and take on mascaef/ briggs ibragimov/ all beatable
