I still kick myself for losing so many of these fights. sat through all thesebills as a boy. Anybody tape any of these fights?

(not after Sky gold, or shabby 2nd or 3rd gen copies, just snooping around to see if anyone taped them originally):

(I was however piss pleased to excavate a mint Holyfield/Moorer II i taped myself with preview last night, promptly banged that little beauty onto DVD)

(and Mavrovic ko5 Eros, main event of British leg)

Let me know of your responses.

I have some of them, but not sure if you like the Pic quality. They are first generation but most were originally LP and pre digital. They are viewable (I have put them onto DVD for safety), but maybe others will have a better picture.

These are the ones I have.

Lewis vs McCall 2 (plus undercard).
Hamed vs Boom Boom Johnson plus undercard.
Hide vs Tucker
Tyson vs Holyfield II (and 1).
Akinwande vs Lewis (but not the British leg, I am looking for it).
Lewis vs Golota plus massive undercard (but I haven't viewed it for a while and not put it onto DVD).
Calzaghe vs Eubank (plus full undercard).

So if you do have an answer regarding the other ones - let me know and maybe we can trade them.

Steve im trying to reclaim my youth by getting back these fights. Last night i uneartherd a mint Lewis/McCall II i taped myself at the time that i didnt think i even had, no undercard though

Rewatching that fight and Holyfield/Moorer II made me thank f#ck Reg Gutteridge doesn't get any gigs anymore, mumbling nonsense all over the fights.

Had a couple of PMs so sounds good, Stu mate let me know which ones are recorded in normal SP format please bud. The LP quality on my VCR back in the day was horrendous! Maybe yours was better though..?

Let me add two more 1997 fights- did anyone tape Julius Francis points win for the Commonwealth title over Joseph Chingangu? It was at good old York Hall and broadcast on Sky.

And his British title kayo over Gary Delaney, in Ireland and also on Sky.

Cant believe its been a decade since i saw these fights

I found Mavrovic/Francis last night, forgot i taped it. Banged that on DVD too. Real strange fight, Francis seemed even with Mavrovic and just decided to quit for no reason in the 8th, like he wanted out. Anyone remember that? Frickin weird.

Ah nice, i'll be in touch with you Mr Hagler. Did you tape them all yourself?

Did anyone tape that heavyweight double header off Sky back in late 1997- Pele Reid knocked out Albert Call in 2 and Danny Williams chinned Bruce Douglas in 2.

Iremember watching that and thinking Pele was much better than Danny. Oops!

I am from Denmark, so I did not tape any of theese fights myself. In those days I did a lot of trading with people in the UK, so I have a lot off the shows from that era. I have transferred all my tapes to dvd´s (it took two years).
If there are fights you cannot find in mint condition, but must have, give me a call - I might have it "Secondhand"

I'm after Joe Calzaghe vs Stephen Wilson MINT and complete.

While converting to DVD I found mine is missing the first few seconds of round 1 which makes it useless in my eyes.

I have a 150 page list if anyone has this fight MINT and COMPLETE and wants to trade.
