who wins and why???

my pick - chavez with ko in the 10 round , the constant attacks begin to slow down trinidad. at the point of the ko chavez would be ahead by around 4 rounds

Chavez would have been much too small. Chavez is well ahead of Trinidad in a p4p sense but head to head Trinidad stops him in ugly fashion around the 6th round.

Trinidad was too big for Chavez. It would have been like when they were talking about matching Chavez with Terry Norris back when both were at the top of they're game, but the attempt that Chavez made to fight at 147 quickly showed him that 140 was his limit. Chavez was always a favorite of mine, but a bout against Trinidad would be ugly and hard to watch as Trinidad would most likely destroy Chavez inside of five rounds.

Trinidad was a very strong Welterweight and overpowered Jr.Mw's and WW's Chavez was tough as they come but was too small and Would get destroyed by Trinidads 2 Handed power and accuracy

Finally Trinidad wins a fantasy match lol. Everyone always chooses the other guy be 1st round KO or by shutout decision.

Yeah, I know. People always focus on his bad outings against Hopkins and Wright.

Which is really pretty silly when considering that Hopkins and Wright are two of the best fighters of the last 20 years. Now if it had been a loss to a Kevin Lueshing and a Mahenge Zulu then there would be something to really criticize Trinidad on, but other than those two fights and the De La Hoya fight Trinidad has put forth some of the top performances of the last 20 years and was the first fighter who really, truthfully beat Pernell Whitaker, which Whitaker, at that point, was not the same fighter that e4asily handled Ramirez and Nelson, but he was still a very solid fighter and a top ten P4P guy and Trinidad beat his ass...well...Whitaker gave De La Hoya all he could handle.

Trinidad also has one of the best records of the past 20 years against top notch opposition. He along with De La Hoya, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera and a couple of others have the best resumes overall of the last 20 years. It was only against the absolute best that Trinidad failed...Hopkins and Wright officially and De la Hoya unofficially...there certainly is no shame in losing to those guys!
