CORRIE SANDERS & HOLYFIELD???

Post by overhand_right »

Corrie Sanders 1993 knockout of Bert Cooper was not on the undercard of Holyfield/Stewart II.

I have the videos and the Sanders fight was in a small arena with a weird white canvas that had "jumbo" written across it.

The Holyfield fight was in a big arena and in a normal ring, i dont know which possibly Atlantic convention hall or whatever, but the point is they were definitley not on the same card!

You're correct, it was held at Merv Griffin's Resort & Casino, along with the Bonecrusher fight and probably some other fights now listed on the Holyfield undercard.

Oh my god. An editor has for the first time EVER, actually conceded a point that i've made on the Record Queries forum. Let us all pause and enjoy this special moment.

The actual change will or will not be made in the near-future, after all editors have turned in their ballots.

Hold up. I thought record corrections posted on Fridays had to be ratified by a 2/3rds working majority of record Queries & Updates forum moderators before it went through the standard electoral referendum of editors as detailed in rule 6.3 (A) subsection 2?

Maybe I'm just getting mixed up with the procedure for submitting Southern and Eastern African shows (of six or fewer bouts) between the hours of 10am and 6pm EST on Mondays? I know the two are kind of similar.

Rule 6.3 (A) subsection 2 concerns corrections posted on thursday. As for fridays, we have recently come to the conclusion that no subsection of rule 6.3 (A) covers fridays. Any corrections posted on that particular day, will be looked at, discussed and voted on by the Board of Forum Moderators but cannot be entered until the newly formed Rule 6.3 (A) subsection 3 goes in effect. As laid down in Rule 5.2 (B) subsection 4 this new rule can't go into effect until tuesday.
