Haye wants Gammer in April.

After Gammer defends vs Danny Williams in March 2, there could be a possible Haye-Gammer fight for the British heavyweight title the following month.

That would be an interesting fight. Got to give HAye credit - he takes good fights.

I thought Haye was after a 'top 15' HW? I'm not sure Gammer is that level, but it's still an impressive start if it happens.

Might as well start by going for a British title, it's not as if time's running out for Haye. I don't see any need for him to rush into world level at the higher weight.

I figured the "top rated" heavy was going to be Oquendo - as Haye has sparred with him & he's a non puncher. But a british title is a good idea after Audley failed to tempt Gammer. Neat idea and it holds genuine intrigue...unlike Macca foe CANTATORE.

No way Gammer takes this fight. But he should , we'd all like to watch this one.

Doesn't Gammer want Audley if beats Williams?

Still, Gammer v Haye would make interesting viewing. Not an easy fight to call IMO.

no, not at all, i spoke to adam booth at nottingham, its a 'keep busy' fight for haye, without the need to boil down, in reality, he will prob enter ring about 15 and a half, but he does that as a cruiserweight anyway.
