shame they are not showing this bill. The pavlik fight was a blinding one and i would pick him to stop jermain taylor late on if he ever gets a world title shot.

Pavlik must be knocking on the door now, he has sound fundamentals and touches of class when finishing. A title shot must be coming soon, no more record padding please Bob Arum :TU:

Wow that right hand reminded me of Moorer-Foreman, it didn't look entirely devastating but it just stopped Zertuche dead in his tracks and well done to the ref who saw it was finished and tried his best to intervene as Pavlik proceded to remove his head with an uppercut.

Yea, Zertuche had never been down before in his career but got knocked down twice by Pavlik, once in the 6th and again in the 8th, both by big right hands. The first 4 rounds were exciting but after that Pavlik just dominated as Zertuche gassed.

I like Pavlik for his killer instinct and composure fighting from an aggressive style. Well balanced and he's a big infighter that makes me think of Riddick Bowe in shape.

Pav had a good win over Bronco McKart. He had a bogus KO call against him and broke the cagey veteran down.

Middle is getting very exciting. I was shit bored of middle after Taylor-Ouma but if you match all the top guys up inventively there will be consistently big fights. Taylor-Wright-Pavlik-Miranda-Green. Interesting where the Germans will fit in - fingers crossed they don't get left behind.

Super middle is just as good, with Kessler-Andrade a terrific matchup, Bute nearing a title chance after yet another solid win, Mundine-Soliman 2 going to be a masterclass from Anthony, and here's hoping Calzaghe's last fight at the weight (20th title defense, HBO reserving Cal-Hops date what more cna you ask for?) with be a sizzling performance...
