What do you guys think of the WBA promoting certain champions to 'super champ' thus vacating their titles.
ie, Jones LH, Hopkins, M, Tszyu, LW, De La Hota, LM.
And what is the story with the 'interim title fights.
Am i missing something or is this situation getting beuond a joke. Not only do we have 4 govening bodies for each weight, now we have the WBA creating two champions for their version of the title.
Please explain.

The answer is simple:
it's all about the $$$$$
The WBA by having two champs
can now get twice the sanctioning fees.
Just more alphabet soup crap.
As for the interim champ business thats another joke. Look at De La Hoya he wasnt even injured and they forced Castillejo to fight for the interim title. Now he fights all the mandatories and the old Golden Boy himself can pick and choose his opponents. Great isnt it?
