Has anyone here ever seen him fight? If so what did you think?
I heard he's going to turn pro soon andI'm wondering does he look like a legitimate future heavyweight world champ. The division is so shallow at the moment we really need another great to come through.

Jason will rep the US in 2004. He's not turning pro before then... But the biggest risk about him is his punching power.. He's a truely oversized middleweight. That's why his hands are so fast.. Promoters are scared to risk investing in him because he lack power for the pros.

Re: J
I figured he'd go to the Olympics, when I said turing pro soon I meant after the Olympics.KO123 wrote:Jason will rep the US in 2004. He's not turning pro before then... From what your saying it sounds as if he's another Chris Byrd, would that be a far comparison?
Estrada.
Not really the next Chris Byrd, He isn't as solid as Byrd and I've seen him get real lazy in fights, even ones that were close. I see him as a decent Cruiserweight, but a great amateur Super Heavy, I don't see him beating to many of the eastern block big strong hitters, as well as Pedro Carrion from Cuba and Alexander Povetkin from Russia.
Re: Estrada.
Jason has a habit of being inconsistent but when he's "on," he's the best! He beat the Cuban SHW at the Pan Ams this year to win the gold medal. He has very fast hands for his weight class and can punch. I think he'll make the USA's 2004 Olympic team and I believe he has a great chance to medal.JDizzle wrote:Not really the next Chris Byrd, He isn't as solid as Byrd and I've seen him get real lazy in fights, even ones that were close.
