Bowe and Lewis still beat him and Lewis clearly beat him the first time.

Holyfield's always full of injuries.

Yep, wouldn't argue with that, Holyfield was a small heavyweight, who lacked KO power. I think he would have beaten them all quite well though, none of them would have stopped him, or could have matched his work rate. The only one I'd have given a chance to beat him funnily enough is Golota, who was a monster and a mammoth puncher.

Golota had the skills no doubt, not sure if he had the mental toughness to last a fight with someone as relentless and unfazible as Holyfield though.

I'd have given Golota an outside chance of stopping Holyfield, he was not only big and powerful, but he had very quick hands too. If it went past 5 rounds, Holyfield wins, but as a long shot, Golota would have been a live 'dog.

Victor for Evander, vs those lot, would come at a price.

His shoulder was fvcked just from the left hooks he threw at Bowe in their 2nd fight.

Golota was a very fluid boxer. Those combos and long range boxing would certainly punish Evander while he found his way in.

Akindwande would just be a nightmare. That size, reach, clutching. Holy should thank The Lord that Henry got hepititis, because even if he won he'd have looked like phlegm.

I think years ago boxers fought more often, so it wasn't such a shock to their body when they had to go into the later rounds.

I think Golota had the physical tools to beat Holyfield but maybe not the mental tools to beat a fully motiated Holyfield.

Golota at his best could have beaten the Holyfield that Moorer beat.

Please!!, Golota never beat a world class boxer in his career, the best names on his record are an ageing Witherspoon and Orlin Norris. Other than that he beat journeymen or over the hill former contenders.

He also absolutely beat the shit out of Riddick Bowe twice, whether or not he lost those fights, he battered him so badly it finished his career.

I am not saying I would ever make him favourite over Holyfield, but Golota had the size, speed and combination punching to give him an outside shot of doing the unthinkable and stopping Holy in his tracks early on. Holyfield was patchy at heavyweight don't forget, and if he had a bad start against Golota, Golota would have jumped right on him. Golota was an on top fighter, that's for sure.

Yes Golota did beat the shit out of Bowe twice, but he couldn't stop him, and in both fights he ditched out when he realised he was f*cked and couldn't see himself getting through the next round, and he proved this again when all he had to do was see a round out against Michael Grant , but walked rather than face Grant for another minute.
So no i just couldn't see him beating Holyfield, who would have fought back after getting hurt,as he did against Bowe, Cooper and all the other he beat

Yes, that's true, he went into a panic attack when he realised Bowe wouldn't just roll over and play dead for him. However, Bowe was a massive puncher, far bigger than Holyfield, and this played it's part in Golota's punking out.

As I said, I'd still make Holyfield favourite, but would have given an outside shot. Golota had all the physical tools you need to be heavyweight champ, but lacked the mental ones.
