Attention Box Rec editors and raters: Ian Gardner should be listed and rated as a light middleweight or as a middleweight, not as a super middleweight. He has had 20 professional fights and only one was as a supermiddleweight. His last fight, on January 25, 2007, was as a light middleweight (154). Thank you.

If I wanted to knit pick, according to the MO commish he weighed 155 which is in the 160 category.
But I get your point and believe that he should be rated at were his team wants to be.

Neither. I am Greg Sullivan, Ian's attorney. A middleweight ranking is fine, or light middleweight, just not super middleweight. Thanks.
