2 strong middleweights going at it. Both had great chins and great stamina, will and determination. Probably Benn had a better punch than Fullmer, but I think that Fullmer was more clever and more resilient than given credit for.

Here we go again.........Benn and the headbutt against McClellan. Why cant you just give Benn credit for a great (albeit tragic) victory. If nothing else the McClellan fight should put pay to the "Benn is chinny / has no stamina" bvllshit

That headbutt was the most brutal and blatant I've seen, out of tens of thousands of fights. I'm glad that McClellan's fucked up in the head, so he can't abuse any more animals, but that headbutt is the main reason Benn won the fight.

Don't believe every humane society biased story you read concerning pitbulls,and their owners.I'm blown away Decagon,by your statements,have you seen McClellan since that fight?I wouldn't wish that on anybody.And anyone who has spent time with bulldogs,know that the type of media garbage that circulates is just that,garbage.I'm not condoning,anyone mistreating a dog,but the true bulldog men,love their dogs,and a lot of misinformation that the Humane society puts out,is what feeds the imbeciles to try to replicate.My father raised those fine dogs for years and years BEFORE I was born,and my whole life,up until recently,and it's the shitheels who think they have to be rough and abuse their dogs,that give them the bad name.But nobody other than satan,deserves to be in the situation that G.M. is in,and I hate to hear brothers/pugilists lovers in this sport,say crazy things like that.Anyway,
if Fullmer could weather the for sure storm that Benn is bringing,and make it to the mid to later rounds he has a chance,but he is in danger until then of getting brutalized,cut-up,and stopped before that.

You need to read up on McClellan a little bit. He didn't just raise dogs; he fought them. That's part of the reason why he and Roy Jones were such good friends; Jones is into cockfighting. While I'm not sure I believe the story that he bought a dog, tied it up and sicced his bulldog on it, he was an animal abuser, and this is very well documented.

I don't know were I got it from but I remember reading an article that said that one of McClellan's realtives said that he tied up dogs so his dog could smell blood and he would time how fast it took to kill the dogs I also read that he paid a guy money so they would stop the fight his dog was in because he had taken very serious wounds..
