1. Duran (at his best weight of LW he was almost unstoppable in his prime)

2. SRL
3. Hearns
4. Hagler (He beat Hearns at MW...but Tommy's best weight was down at both 147-154).

Im surprised Hagler is so rated so low, even at number 4 on some lists. P4P its difficult to split Hagler, Duran and Leonard IMO, with Hearns probably a shade below

All were good,VERY good fighters, but I think Hagler certainly ranks with Duran as THE best, then Leonard, and Hearns lastly.Taking nothing from Hearns, just overall skills, achievements etc.Hagler ruled and cleaned out his division against the best his era could offer.Duran did the same.I used to be a #1 Leonard fan, until he pulled some of his later year stunts, like I personally thought the Hagler fight was not right, and how in the world does he demand that the reigning Champion Lalonde come down in weight to accomodate him,and he wins 2 titles.I know it was done for the money, but that was phony.Had HAgler fought him like he did,Hearns, you would have seen a different outcome. So I place p4p 1:Duran 2:Hagler And Leonard and Hearns tie for 3rd.

I think it's silly to even think about ranking him below Hearns, who LOST the two biggest fights of his life by knockout.
That may be true but Hagler was given a tough fight by a Lightweight and Lost to a Welterweight.. Im rating them Head To Head not in terms of accomplishment's

Hagler, past his best and in his last fight dropped a dubious decision to the media darling of the 80s. Hagler was the best middleweight in the world for almost 10 years, and ruled as world champion for 7.
If youre rating them head to head, your rankings are even more wrong. How can you rank Duran over Hearns when Hearns almost decapitated him? Also Hearns over Hagler and Leonard who both stopped him?

1. Leonard
2. Hagler
3. Duran
4. Hearns

If this is who was the best, and not a popularity contest, Leonard has to be #1.
No question, all were great fighters.

Duran has rto be number 1 in P4P sense.

The others can be argued over...

I vote:

1. Duran: The best fighter of the 70s..Won 3 more titles way past his weight class range and prime. Won 2 titles being washed up in specatcular fashion

2. Leonard: The best fighter of the 80s...But Hagler could be consdered as the best of the 80s in some way.

3. Hagler: Awesome...That Leonard loss might hurt his standing

4. Hearns: Lost the 2 biggest fights of his career against prime fighters. Decapitated Duran, a man that was never KOd until then and he was the first to win 4 world titles.
