Duddy is now Irish!

Post by Jabby »

John Duddy has now officially been declared Irish by BoxRec. The entire British Empire is aghast at the thought, particularly after BoxRec was attempting to make Duddy change his nickname to "Britan's John Duddy".

WAIT!! I know the answer! They expect John to decidedly lose to Bonsante.

Brits DO NOT FEAR. If Duddy wins BoxRec will declare it all a big mistake and change him back to British -- and all will be well with the world. The Empire will be restored.

He's still listed as British.

probably another case of where an editor other then God almighty aka JohnShep changed it to Irish and Shep changed it back. Its not the first time either!!

Again JohnShep ignores international law and pushes his racist agenda under the guise of "facts"

Don't get your knickers in a twist mate it's only John Duddy. I could understand people being upset if it was good fighter.

What a sorry episode all this is  Who cares where Duddy is from, if he keeps giving us scraps like the one with Campas he's ok in my book. Why didn't it make many fight of the year lists?

Irish or English, he's still only a over hyped clubfighter... if he's the best hope of Ireland then things must be dire...

Don't fret Silkov, Ireland's best hope is Scott Belshaw :D Only kidding, Andy Lee and James Moore are better defensively than Duddy and Moore hits hard to the body. Duddy will be punch drunk within a few fights.

Bernard dunne is at the moment irelands best hope for world honours and his performance against pickering showed that he has the class to win something.

There must be some seriously stubborn tard here who refuses to acknowledge the man's stated nationality...It dosn't matter at the end of the day but it does tarnish a little boxrec's 'record-keeping' objectivity..

Are you sure it's not being kept as British just to annoy people?

He's fought in Ireland now.
When I say 'this country' I am of course referring to the UK.

What nationality did boxrec have Wayne McCullough before he became a septic?
