Now then lads.

Good to have an alternative British Forum.
That's gotta be MC Stompin. Hope you didn't mind my book on Glenn Catley the other day, It's just sometimes we have world class fighters right under our nose and don't even see them.
Bennie?

Does anyone find it difficult to read the pink, cos I'm gonna have to drop it if they are. Doen't look to clear on my screen.
No, you can read it okay, MC. It certainly makes you stand out. That was good thinking.

Hi Elliot. Let me know when you need that old copy of BN, mate. And keep up the good work. Am about to post a preview of next Friday's big fight between Clinton Woods and Glencoffe Johnson on here, but it will take some doing to emulate yours.

hi guys...... nice to see you here so soon!!!

Not sure if anyone knows who runs this but the idea of being able to make comments as a "guest" i find a little open for abuse!!!

Anyway, my personal opinion was that Spud overreacted, but the guy puts in a lot of hard work over there so its his "game"

What one do you want? I have every single BN from about 1988/89 through to 2001. They are all in my loft and unfortunately mostly not in chronological order but the next time I'm up there I could have a quick shufty.

Goz,

Thanks for the offer mate. It's for some english coursework I've got to do. Comparing two pieces of writing from different time periods. Naturally I chose to compare the editorial/articles in Boxing News, and am comparing a present day version to one from as far back as I can manage.

Check this out, I've been banned from ESB completely! I only went to logon because someone PM'd me, said I didn't have permission to access the server so I tried the main site and no no.

They must have banned my IP address because I can access it via alternative ISP's. I didn't even do anything other than say I disagreed and that I wasn't going to post there any longer!

I can change my IP address as easily as I change my underpants, in fact even easier as I don't have any spare underpants here with me at work but I do have plenty of spare IP addresses so it's a lot easier.

Spudley has gone mad!!

If your gonna come on here and try to cause trouble, at least have the bollocks to say who you are - and that goes for all the "guests" chucking accusations around. Gutless Twats.

Ah one of the Jocks. Welcome Gav. Not quite so busy over here but most of the posters are sound enough, myself included of course.

Welcome Gav. This forum is beginning to take off in a way, word is spreading. I think ESB is still being moderated in a very draconian manner.

Did anyone used to read Judge Dread in 2000AD when the police used to come and get you for just thinking bad thoughts?

I even e-mailed Spud but received no reply, so much for Olive branches eh?

I am (supposedly) at "work" 9-5.
So I only read when I get time and hardly post.
The problem with ESB for me is:

1) The moderation. (although the moderator has never done me any wrong, he sets a tone in the place that I don't like).
I think in the history of this site there has only been 1 banning.
It's 1 a week over on ESB.

2) It's not 'work-safe'. I.e. Too many pictures of big tited women. I can't be browsing in the office or i'll get into trouble. (This site's a bit plainer).
There is currently an avtar of a bird flashing. Nice pic, but I just can't afford to browse that site anymore.

lol the avatars are a bit risque.

It wouldnt be so bad if the option was there to turn them off in your profile, but they either dont have that option enabled, or they aint got the forum hack that allows you to do it.

I'm new to both here, and there, but I did used to post on secondsout quite regular.

I dunno, no forum for god knows how long, and now I got 2 to read, and post on.
