Don't forget about Mike Weaver who knocks down Holmes in the 1979 WBC title fight that makes 6 men who knocked down Larry Holmes in his career.

holmes was knocked down in the fourth round versus weaver.if i am not mistaken.does anyone have the tape of this fight and can verify one way or the other?

Weaver did appear to deck Holmes, but the referee didnt call it.

Conversely, over 20 years later Butterbean steps on his foot and swats his chest which sends Holmes stumbling into the ropes, which somehow became an offical 'knockdown'.

Bizarre.
