Worst opponents?
If this has been the subject of a previous post my apologies but wandering the boxrec's records I came across Lamar Clark's record of 45 and 3. Of his, wins only one came against an opponent with a winning record. 42 came against opponents with ZERO wins. Any other contenders for world champion of stiffs? Incidentally the first female boxer of any notiriety was Cathy "Cat" Davis who never FOUGHT anyone with a win.

Not bad for having 31 fights in one year and even having 6 fights in the same day.tagjohnson wrote:If this has been the subject of a previous post my apologies but wandering the boxrec's records I came across Lamar Clark's record of 45 and 3. But the thread was about the opponents records as opposed to said fighter.enrique wrote:Hell, Steele has a winning record. He's creditable when compared to chronic losers.
Besides the Strickland brothers and the well known Frankie Hines, there are lots of guys with horrible records.
Check out Florida's Tony Torres who was 0-21-2 as a welter Plenty like him around.
