Hearns/Gilmour have assembled quite a good stable with Khaliq, Brodie, Hare and others around...

Hennessey will need a good 5 years before he will be challenging Warren...

Hearns is my best bet tho'

Brodie is very and I mean very underrated...

Some people rated Harrison above him but Brodie is absolutely quality...
Was blatantly cheated against against Jorrin and definately deserves a ABC Title shot soon...

Pity he isn't as well followed as Hatton but that just proves that all hatton's fans are Man City fans...

Big Hearns fan overall...

They used to say you could judge the state of the game by the quality of the heavyweight champion. If you applied that to the domestic scene, then we're doing okay. Lennox Lewis is still the number one heavyweight in the world as I write, regardless of whether he fights again or not; Danny Williams, talented on his night, is pressing for a big domestic showdown with Herbie Hide (a winnable fight for a hot Danny) and behind him is the gifted David Haye. That makes things interesting in the future. All three, of course, are allied to Lion Promotions.

Also, isn't Michael Sprott with Lion Promotions?

Lennox Lewis has an ambitous stable in Haye, Sprott and Co...

I do like Hearns, he doesn't take any shit, and likes to test his fighters, doesn't feed them bums. But he's Leyton Orient's chairman, puts on pool and snooker shows, as well as being a boxing promoter, so it would be hard for him to come out on top.

Hennessey could do it, because he's got the BBC on his side, and that means more exposure for his fighters.

Warren is under threat, and you can see that he's worried by Hennessey cos he cusses him at every chance.

Lion also have top South African fighters Phillip Ndou and Silence Mabuza who are both world rated at their respective weights. This goes with Williams, Sprott, Haye etc.

Hearn is putting on some quality shows of late, and has some good fringe world class fighters such as Hare, Khaliq, Robinson to go with the already world class Michael Brodie. Not to mention Naz if he ever returns.

Hennessy is on the up, and puts on competitive match ups like Hearn has been doing. He's got Eastman, Hide, Froch, Walker and Daws as his big guns. Future prospects look good with the likes of Froch, Daws, Corcoran, Thirwall receiving BBC backing and possibly becoming household names...do they have the talent to take advantage of their exposure though?

Also that Charles Adamu looked impressive, OK he only beat Matthew barney but to come away from home and do it so comprehensively....

With Sanders under contract at Lion, you'd think a fight between Lewis and Corrie would be a natural.

Not enough money in it for Lewis....

Also I would make Corrie the favourite for the fight....

Lewis would like to preserve his so-called 'Leagacy' and make alot of money in the process...

Whose Barry Hearns? Tommy's Brother or something? Lol.

Perhaps he's going to get some revenge for his Brother and nick some of Sugar Ray's prospects.

Did you see pictures of HEARN on the Benn vs Eubank match recently shown on five - that man has aged alot in 13 years.

But I agree, he's the man who can challange Warren if he puts his heart in it. Watching him on tele he always seems to give you the impression he's geniune and a good guy.
